Welcome
Flinders Research Centre for Coastal and Catchment Environments (FR3cE) is a cross-disciplinary research centre of Flinders University that focusses on our most precious resource - water.
The Centre brings together 35 academic staff from three Faculties with demonstrable high-quality research expertise in all aspects of the water cycle.
This unique, broad multi-disciplinary capability provides new research-based knowledge and innovative solutions that support the sustainable management of catchment, coastal and marine environments in South Australia and elsewhere.

Meet a Researcher
Dr Sophie Leterme
I am a lecturer in the School of Biological Sciences and topic coordinator for Functional Biology and Experimental Design.
My research focuses on the study of phytoplankton species and combines field and laboratory works, numerical analysis and simulation to assess the relation between phytoplankon species and the changing environment.
